Today went to a village festival type do. Morris dancing and the like. Lovely do, then one of our Morris dancing friends says 'why don't you join'. Friend says ooo yes that would be fun, shall we. I laugh and say, I'm still trying to recover from physio assessment 5 days ago where we tried out some strength and balance excercises. she says 'no, this will be fun, it will get you fit'. Pharrrr. I'm OK really !

Some people just can't take a hint can they!!!
Morris Dancing! Lucky you to have a reason NOT to join in.
Oh dear....that made me laugh...my husband loves it.....but only when he's had a few beers, with our friends, shaking a couple of hankies and in the privacy of our own home.
I do actually love watching it.
Don’t underestimate the joy of Morris Dancing though!
My brother used to be an avid member of a Morris dancing group and I do quite like watching it. Take part at the moment - don't think so. However, in retrospect I could think of a number of people I could accidentally bash with those big staves they use though!!
I would have to sit down to watch- can't do the standing!
Keep an ankle support in you bag & claim a sprained ankle! 😉
I just say sorry - my shoes are too high 👠
