I've been on 7.5mg prednisolone since October 2020. Just recently I started a slow taper and during the first few days didn't feel too well. My rheumatologist arranges for blood tests every two months so I know everything is fine there. I couldn't understand why I was feeling so low and achy. I had read some information on here a while ago about the benefits of taking magnesium supplements. I had been taking soluble magnesium right at the start of PMR but decided against continuing with it (completely forgotten the reason why). Anyway, I started back on 350mg soluble magnesium and so far, so good. I have my old bounce back, the aches and pains have receded a lot and I'm also sleeping a bit better. Thought I'd pass it on........
