Hello, I’ve got some questions for you. Was there change from the last one? When you say not a lot of pain, what do you mean and where is it? Is it pain that’s always been there or quietly crept on? Do you have any other non-PMR symptoms of any sort? How do you feel? Answers to these might help others to help you prepare for the doctor chat.
Not now maybe - but if it is only just a tiny bit too low to manage all the inflammation it can take a long time to build up far enough to cause symptoms you notice. Leave it then and eventually the dropping tap fills the bucket and it overflows. If the inflammation levels are up and they called you to tell you it suggests they are outside the normal range - so what is YOUR personal normal? It is the trend that matters and how far they are raised.
My blood inflammation levels suddenly increase for no reason, if over 100 my GP might call me. I tend to increase the pred if I feel rough, if I feel OK I do not increase the pred dose in spite of the markers.
