I've missed you all, but I'll give you the short version. Covid went through both of my son's families, grandchildren, and all with varying degrees of severity. Only my son in Canada was left with no sense of smell. One DIL did get pneumonia and then was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. They discovered a spot on the other lung, a biopsy was postponed twice because she tested positive for covid...anxious times, but after a month, NO cancer.
One morning about three weeks ago, I woke, and the world was grey. We got to the neuro-ophthalmologist and end diagnosis, extreme dry eyes and the optic nerve in my right eye 'had a white spot, that should be pink'. I have a regimen of heat treatments, two different drops, and put an ointment in my eyes at night. Things are bright now, and that is great!! But nothing clears up the computer screen. Print is shadowy and just plain, not clear. SO, on February 14, a new 28-inch monitor will be set up on my desk by Best Buy, and I shall be at the computer again.
Grammy80 is now 81, but I am leaving the handle alone. xo π
