Hi Everyone,just a quick message, I went to a GCA-pmr meetup today and found it a great help just talking to others with the same problems and getting a better understanding of GCA.I will be going again and definitely recommend chatting about the subject with other like minded people.. Yes support groups are great - I help run the Yorkshire one. I'd recommend them as a source of knowledge and support, here's a link to the groups around the UK for those who've been meaning to investigate:

Nothing like talking openly with a group of supportive folks going through the same thing as you are.

Four of us started a Zoom peer support group for people with PMR/GCA here in Ontario, Canada. We appreciate the chance to connect and discuss the challenges and celebrations we experience, especially during the pandemic with less in-person opportunities for support.

That's brilliant! It's great when you can get to a group to chat and get extra support from people whom know what you are going through. It's great getting the support on the forum , but sometimes the odd trip to speak face to face can be an added boost. Enjoy your new friendships , Bee x
