We've had a few vaccination posts recently and while we understand that some of you want to be reassured about other people's reactions or to discuss aspects of vaccination etc, how one person responds is not a predictor of how you will respond. Some people will have a reaction, some won't and that's normal.

Please keep questions related to PMR and GCA (which might have a vaccine element to it eg, if you are experiencing PMR/GCA difficulties after a vaccine).

For questions about covid and vaccinations in general, please see the FAQs that Mrs Nails keeps updated with all the latest govt advice which you can find here: healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk....

Thank you

Fran

If someone is asking how the vaccine/booster affected their PMRGCA isn't that PMRGCA related? We realize everyone with any kind of AI can and will have varied reactions. Now those who posted have been censored and may not come back, I wouldn't. But everyone's mileage varies.😿

Yes there are times when it will be really helpful for someone who is perhaps struggling with how they're feeling after their jab and worried they're experiencing a flare or something. Those are PMR/GCA related questions and we don't want to see those stop. It's the more general or speculative questions or chit chat about vaccines that I'm referring to. Every post and reply generates an email which our volunteers read through and that's in the region of 7,500+ emails per month. So if we can keep focused on the PMR and GCA aspect it makes it a little easier to manage.

We'll said Fran, I was thinking the same thing, and it was beginning to look like a covid vaccine forum. 👍🏻

I am in full agreement with you regarding this. There have been some recent ‘discussions’ which I have thought to be unkind and judgemental and quite biased. This is not good for my blood pressure, so have had to avoid reading these posts!
