First diagnosed PMR-GCA-Aug. 2017, Actemra & pred free July 2018....GCA flare- Nov. 2018. Put back on 60 pred and weekly self- injected Actemra. Off pred. Sept. 2020. Still on weekly shots. Husband and I first felt Covid on a Thursday. I was due an Actemra shot The next day. Chose to wait. Got Covid tested. Both positive. Husband ran high fever. I never did. Had days of fatigue, aches, metallic taste, and all around tired. Woke up one day and knew I was better. Been better since. I am type O blood. I will go back on Actemra next week. Just wanted to share a good story when so many are bad.

My husband went into the hospital today. He had high fever, low oxygen level and total body aches. With the hospitals help he is getting better. I always thought I would be the one that would need medical help.
