A really good dose of Doms today. Yesterday a quarter mile walk to the dentist, up 16 steps, down the same steps, and a quarter mile back home. Today it feels like my middle bit has been wrapped tightly with blunt barbed wire. Just waiting for the Tramadol and Paracetamol to kick in. Hope it only lasts one day. Never thought a trip to the dentist could be so much fun. Not laughing yet. Trevor.

Trevor be careful with the paracetamol because tramadol has the same drug in it so you have to be careful not to overdose on the paracetamol.

It will be stated if it is a Tramadol/paracetamol tablet, not all are. You can get just tramadol.

Hello piglette, it's 2 Tramadol plus 2 Paracetamol, as instructed by my GP more than 5 years ago. Hope he was correct. Trevor.

Hi Trevor, sounds good as long as it is not the Tramadol tablets that have paracetamol included!!

You have to get into training for these events you know!!!!! It's the lying in the chair as much as anything else I find! Hope the actual dental procedure was better though.

Hello PMRpro, been in training since my last trip there. It still doesn't make that sharp pointy thing being stuck in my gum a few times, any easier though. Trevor.

It is the stress of going to the dentist that does it for me. Rigid with fear (pain and expense).

I usually need a good lie down after going to the dentist Stress = Pain for me!
