I'm running a series of themed open mic events on Zoom for my students. This is my sixth one, which is Rock themed. I've made previous ones charitable events for musicians charities. I've decided to do this one in aid of PMR&GCA Scotland. I haven't communicated a lot to my students about my health issues but I think it's time I make use of my position to raise awareness while raising funds to help the charity continue their good work and support. It' not a great big event but will inolve students, their families and loved ones, tolerated ones cats and dogs. Ha!
I'm looking for in info clip to play at the start of the event. I've checked with the Scottish Charity branch to ask if they had access to or knew of any info clips which might help raise awareness but have been told they don't have anything like that. I keep thinking that there must be something out there and if there isn't there should be. Perhaps that is a thing which could be a future project for my students.
Any ideas? All help welcome.
