Sorry - just posted this too 🙄. My feed doesn't always refresh!
Just heard this is on the News!....
Thanks.
Thank you. I'm sure many of us having wondering to what extent we are protected. I hope it won't be too long before results are known.
I apologise for not reading my comments after writing them 😳.
'have wondered'
Thank you, will interesting to see what they come up with.
Thanks for that
Thanks for this, I'm glad they are looking into it. It's puzzling how some people have a reaction to the the same jab and others have nothing - even people on no medication. Does anyone know why yet? I've heard that if you've had Covid you have a worse reaction, but even couples who don't go out much have different reactions.
Also I was wondering if the reaction I got from the jab (temperature, shivers etc) was really my immune system reacting appropriately (good) or whether it was because it was struggling because of the Pred (bad).. I'm worrying about the second dose!
Just different immune systems - why do some people get PMR/GCA and others don't? There are plenty of people who will have had Covid without knowing. Right at the start we were talking to the head of the local hospital lab and he said then, last March, that at least half and probably 70% of people with Covid were assymptomatic and were around long before last January. The earliest confirmed case in the Milan region was a child with pneumonia in early November 2019 - which means it had been around earlier than that.
Hopefully it does offer protection, I’ve started a bad flare almost 2 weeks after the Pfizer vaccine. Having had a bad case of Covid I wasn’t expecting this . Fingers crossed. Hope you get your vaccines soon . I feel dreadfully guilty for complaining x
Thanks!
