Well, I finally went to physio and he is working on my jaw. I told him I basically hurt all over but Rhemy says it is OA. He thinks it could be myophasia and I keep thinking what next? I have been off pred for three months now and the only comment he made regarding medications was he is glad I am off prednisone. Jaw still popping but he said do not expect a miracle over night. Face aches with this also.will see him again next week. He feels some of the problem is from my neck.

Jaw Popping
Sounds like what I had - the physio said it can derive from sternocleidomastoid muscle tightness and be part of myofascial pain syndrome - and that can be part of PMR although they can also exist in isolation. My physio only needed one session but it was within days of it starting.
I so hope he can fix it. I left it for three weeks which maybe I should not have. Just had my lunch and now my cheek is sore from popping. I have to keep reminding myself you cannot put a dollar value on your health as we have no drug plan to cover physio.
I recd a note , asking if i could reply to you, and help you re Pred.unfortunately i can only offer a well done for being off of them for 3 Months. Im currently stuck on 4 or 5. per day.
my physio wishes i was off of them as well.
good luck
