I hope this post finds you all in reasonably good health and Covid free.We, in US, are still up to our eyebrows with virus pain and loss. Plenty of new cases and off the chart numbers of deaths.

I have had good fortune of avoiding the illness, and, so far, my friends and family have remained well. We do, however, adhere to absolute social distancing, mask wearing, and no gatherings beyond our own household. We do lots of Zoom gatherings with friends and family, and our holiday dinners were accomplished by drive by the garage to scurry in and drop off your contribution to the meal (packaged in individual portions), drop off and pick up gifts, and leave. Our one concession was a masked, turned head, quick hug. Ugh! Not at all what times past permitted.

However, we are looking forward to a new President in 20 days.

My PMR is waning, after nearly 8 years. Happy to see it leave!

It's sounds very similar in the US as here with regards to Covid. Lots of new restrictions announced today for huge swathes of the UK.

You sound as though you had a lovely holiday albeit different.

Glad to hear the PMR is on it way out - long may it continue!

We are in lockdown in Ontario until January 23. And maybe beyond. 2021 has to be better!!! Cheers!

Happy New Year to you as well and let's hope it is just that a very healthy one too. You have also given me hope that there will be a better life without PMR/GCA as I have had it for 5 years and only down to 14mg plus methotrexate and struggling even on that and it has been a roller coaster so hearing that you have had it for 8 years already and it is waning is a boost to my moral. Once again thank you.
