hi can any one advice is it OK too take multivitamins and vit c. On 4mg of pred at moment used too take them all the time before P.M.R. grateful for any info

No real reason why not - but a good diet will supply most of what you need except vit D. Too much of some vitamins is worse than not enough and natural sources are far more valuable than artificial ones.

Although very important to eat many portions of fruit and veg every day, there is plenty of information out there showing that intensive farming method and soil depletion means less nutrients are available than in years gone by.

I would encourage the taking of multivitamins - but.......what one ideally requires is a practitioner who can tailor individual needs, in the absence of which a sensible approach to the amount and (more importantly) the quality of products will serve well.

As PMRPro says a good diet is just as good if not better than supplements unless your doctor and blood tests say you need them. There are a lot of articles saying that the majority of supplements sold are just making money for the suppliers and reducing your bank account.
