I wake up with my face bright pink and feeling very warm

I'm guessing its the prednisone, currently tapering 8mg to 7.5. I also get very hot at times. The coloring fades from my face after I'm up awhile.

I had that symptom early on in my PMR journey. It was surprising to me as I am normally pale skinned. To be honest, it was just one of those things that disappear after a while.

Yes I have a "glow" going on most mornings. Like I've been in the sun. I'm on 5mg but the glow is still there!! It goes after a while during the morning.

I'm past hot flashes, but I frequently get hot, my face gets red. Have been on prednisone, at varying doses, for 2 years. One of my doctors called it "the devil's drug"! I agree. Good luck to you.

I, too, had the rosy cheeks but on slightly higher dose of pred. It will pass.

hi,i have rosy cheeks,and get very hot and i seem to sweat more now,iam 10mg.prednisone,reducing down every month.will this past as i go down.

I had rosy cheeks in fact they were glowing,now after 1 drink my face is like a beetroot🤣 and sooo hot very annoying,glad i don't drink very often.xxx
