My daughter is cross that she is visiting Nova Scotia this week when it has been rainy and chilly while the weather at home in Ontario is gorgeous, like it was here last week!

My son and his partner are in NB which is also rainy currently, while he left behind sunshine and hot weather here at home in Ontario. But he’ll take his Grammy over warm weather any day. Card games and movies at the cottage it is,

Fireworks were good. Cloud overhead but high enough didn't interfere and today it looks like the weather is making some effort to clear. Just in time for the young ones to end their holiday and head back to Ontario!

I am so fortunate to have spent the last 8 days in Toronto/Montreal. I do not look forward to returning to the states. I love Canada and have some hope now that I have seen what a country can be. I watched the celebration of Canada Day on TV. The Governor General really impressed my husband and I. I want to bring my grandchildren here.

Belated Happy Canada Day!! (was not on computer yesterday). We were out celebrating despite a rainy day here in Edmonton. Will take cool and wet over the treacherously hot, dry conditions being experienced by so many in Europe and elsewhere.
