Yes, I had read that. In Scotland, New Year, ( Hogmanay) is bigger than Christmas.

Thanks for the Canadian good wishes. I have been in Scotland for over 28 years but still miss the Pumpkin pie with lashings of whipped cream which we used to have every Canadian Thanksgiving!

Thank You...Missing family that have died, especially, son, Brad who passed in March. Thankful for the memories and family and friends, here today🙏🏻......now for Turkey, sweet potatoes, dressing and cranberry’s. Pecan pie, pumpkin pie and cheesecake.....Thankful I do not have to cook, Thankful I am feeling much better.....🌹❤️🇺🇸

Thank you! Missing our loved ones not with us any longer, but what fun we had with our children and grand children. Just had a foot of snow, and heading home a little early before another 18 inches of snow hits tonight. Very grateful to all who have helped sojourning through the gca "adventure."
