How are you though piping9? Symptoms rule. Other things can raise CRP. Even a cold. If you feel your typical PMR/GCA Symptoms creeping back. Yes I would go back. What does your doc say. How long have you had it?

Same questions as sheffiedj.

You need to discuss this with your doctor, there could be many reasons for the high CPR even a simple cold.

Are you in any pain or is there a recurrence if your symptoms?

Don’t just start Pred again because your CPR is raised, see what your Doctor thinks.

Kind Regards

MrsN

Let us know how you get on.

As the others say if you feel fine there is no reason to go back onto pred.

What was it when you stopped pred? If this is the first check and you have no symptoms then get it checked again in the next couple of weeks - to see if it is still rising. As has been said - a lot of things will send it up including chest infections and a single raised CRP shouldn't trigger a rise in or return to pred.

Not what you're looking for?
