Eye twitches

Has anyone experienced eye twitching, seem to have it more since diagnosed with PMR and especially over the last few days since I’ve had a stiff neck?

I have had eye twitches on and off since my early 20’s especially when I was tired (night duty, babies) or stressed. Very little twitching since PMR which I have had now for 3 and a half years. Except for right at the beginning (extreme stress, pain, little sleep)

I wonder if the stiff neck might be relevant? Maybe ask your doctor?

A lack of B vitamins can sometimes lead to twitches. Might not hurt to take a Vitamin B complex

Or possibly magnesium deficiency. Pred can play havoc with our electrolyes so a you could try a small magnesium supplement if the Vitamin B 12 doesn't do it.

Yes, my left side of the neck is sore, and the right eye is twitching intermittently...can t imagine that they are related....I think... it is just one of those crazy things of PMR.....Succes. Alida

Yes I have had this too. Mine started with a headache comming from the neck. I hate to say this ended up in my temples and GCA. Now on the higher pred its all gone away. This doesnt mean yours will go the same way at all. But maybe keep an EYE on it LOL.

I'm sure someone asked this just recently - and there were loads of people saying they have had similar experiences. I did for much of the 5 years of PMR with no pred - it improved once I was on pred.
