Pred head strikes! I’ve just got in from work and instead of taking calcium tablets I’ve taken another dose of prednisone! Will that be a problem?

I did that one morning, but I was only on 3mg at the time, so no harm done! How much have you taken?

Might give you a slightly restless night. Depends how big a dose.

Just carry on as normal tomorrow. I normally forget to take them, much worse!!

Get a dosette box! Then you SEE what you have already taken...

Thankyou so much for replies, was 7mg it will be fine to just take my usual dose tomorrow won’t it? Please tell me I don’t have to taper back to 7! 🥺

You might be a bit restless tonight but other than that you’ll be OK just Take usual dose in the morning & you’ll probably have a good day!

Yep been there done that. I am glad that I catch the mistake when it happens.

You might feel especially "zoomy" for a day or so, have some sleep problems, but otherwise, you should be fine. Go back to your regular dose at your regular time when it comes up next.
