Been to doctors today with my list of symptoms, lovely man, has not ruled out pmr and has given me a weeks trail on prednisone. Also going to refer me to a rheumatologist, all in all a good result I think.

Thanks, I am feeling a bit better, not so much pain but awful pressure in my head and being woken up by vertigo in the night, is that pmr?

I do get pressure in my head but I wouldn't say that and vertigo a symptom of PMR . Best to run it past your GP - could be steroids?

Hi, I only started taking them yesterday, 15mg on a weeks trail, it could be ear related I guess, I do suffer with tinnitus

Tinnitus is seen (heard?) in PMR - and can be a symptoms of GCA. Do mention it to your doctor.
