I try to keep what I take really simple so that one day I can find my way back. I also want to know where side effects are coming from. There just isn’t enough conclusive evidence for DHEA and none at all for our conditions specifically. I used to spend a fortune on supplements and then waste them when they made no difference at all. The hope was good while it lasted though.

Why? There is no evidence it is of any use - like for many supplements that are claimed to be so wonderful. And I can see nothing in the "possible benefits" that have anything to do with PMR/GCA.

Most women find the facial hair pred leads to too much - why add another non-proven supplement that adds to it?
I am not sure why it makes sense to take DHEA supplements. They sound like snake oil to me and also they are not that cheap.
