Hi my name is mo I'm 74 I was first diagnosed with Gca,and put on 60mg pred right away,after a few days it helped the Bad headaches,my gp was great got me to see my rheumy but she wasn't sure about cha,I was also needing an op,for gall bladder but had to wait 10 months because pred dose to high I eventually had a biopsy which was negative,still having bad headaches so I now have been diagnosed with pmrg 18 months yes it's,a long slog, your help has bèe invaluable, youve helped me through some tough times. Im now down to 9mg after coming off too soon. It's been a rocky year after picking up a couple of water infections. Always listen to your body,if it's tired rest. Hope this helps.

Still a way to go, but continued good health (well it’s all relative!)
