The dreaded face fuzz

Morning all. Just thought I’d let you ladies know that I have found a wonderful gadget called ‘Flawless’ which I purchased on line. It gets rid of the facial peach fuzz and it stays away for a few days. At last something that works ! 🍑🍑

Thank you for your recommendation Suet, they have them on Amazon and a nice price to boot.

I've looked at those No No things and the price is a bit OTT for me.

Just to be awkward, I've got fuzzy bits on the left side but none on the right!;-)

I used my Braun epilator in the Medrol blackbeard phase. Used regularly they give weeks of fuzz-free once you have "caught up" with hair growth,

Flawless is just an expensive electric shaver which is why the result is only good for a few days. And this is an interesting broader look at the options:

How kind of you to share, Suet. I thought it was just me turning into Father Christmas. Love and hugs. xxx

Hi

I used my epilator on the Peach Fuzz & it worked a treat, l did a bit each day for a couple/three days & it was fine.

After Chemo with not a hair anywhere, the first thing to grow back was Peach Fuzz down the sides of my face/jaw & l had that ‘Threaded’ at the Salon, it was very successful!

I did think of getting that done Nrs N but using this gadget a couple of times a week is no problem. X🙂

That’s good, after the Chemo l had a real peachy face but after the threading it never came back!

I bought a flawless yesterday. Since reviews are mixed I am interested in how you get on with it. Up until recently used to have full set of nails, chin, upper lip, eyebrows waxing and false individual eyelashes. Yes high maintenance! However son going to uni and grandchild on the way means I have other financial commitments to spend my money on! Hence investment in flawless as a cheaper option do it yourself tool! Keep me posted.

I’ve used it a few times now Marilyn. I looked in the mirror one day when it was sunny and was horrified to see a tach and side face fuzz. Yet the hair on my head in getting thinner. Oh the joys!

I originally spotted my hair was thinning while in France, in a double aspect bedroom!

Has anyone tried waxing on the face? My hairdresser is recommending it but I’m skeptical...

Haven’t tried it but would probably work a treat.

in reply toNEPatriots12

Yes, I have. It worked great! and I didn't get that stubble feeing, but it was £££ : (

It can be a bit harsh & makes your face very red but it will grow back softer & not blunt ended, which causes an itch. What you have to be careful of is is looking ‘shiny’ & hair free in patches.

It depends if it’s down like hair or a thicker growth. I used my own epilator on my peach fuzz but had it threaded after Chemo as it was more over the cheeks & jawline. 💁🏻‍♀️

After years of expensive waxing, threading, chemicals etc I watched a woman on you tube. Easy buy a little pink disposable razor and shave. Takes 2 mins, painless and free. Lasts for days. Remember the old wives tales. Not true.
