Oh Jerri ouch! ouch! You know yourself that we are hothouse plants as regards trauma, even
“little trauma”.
What about 5 mgs for a couple of days, then return to your normal dose, feet up and painkillers? Are you at zero? I have forgotten. Heal quickly! You could try homeopathic Arnica for shock and injury.
We are supposed take wisdom from our trials. Um....get a wooden wine rack? Drink more wine so the wine rack is less heavy?
I broke my toe on 17mg Pred; man, it bruised. Just have GCA but had aches and pains from very altered gait that tweaked Pred weakened muscles not normally engaged. Disturbed sleep caused fibromyalgic pain as well. I do hope your body hasn’t seen this as a reason to reattack itself.
Those broken toes are terrible...small bone, big pain. I have had stress fractures in both feet all summer so I get it. I think going from 6 to 5 is a bear. I’m there as well. On my second try, week three starting at 2nd week of LD’s plan. All was fine until yesterday when I had bilateral knee pain (not unbearable) and a few other reminders that PMR is still alive. I’m staying the course for now. I’m able to do more at this stage but I still need to count spoons.
Enjoy the rest of the summer with your feet up!
OUCH! Not nice. I have no words of wisdom... just a lot of empathy for you and your toe! xxx
