Fun size Snicker

I don't know if this will translate across the pond but I tell my friends I am now like a bite size candy bar (sometimes called fun size here) I am essentially the same just can't do quite as much for now. My life has been reduced quite a bit for now but not forever. Enjoy your weekend friends.

Hi, I know exactly what you mean! Was having a really good morning today, went to nearby town I haven’t visited for a couple of months, on my own, no OH. Was enjoying looking at shoes/clothes, while paying for an item in M&S, the sales assistant said “You take Care of yourself now”, so I went away wondering how bad I actually looked! Then, in the middle of admiring new jumpers, took a strange, but short-lived, turn, felt completely off-balance and really needed to sit down. Felt ok in 5mins or so, but also knew it was time to go home, no more wandering the shops!

Yes, everything in small-size pieces, it can be frustrating when you’re used to buzzing around!

Best wishes

Oh, I hate that!!! Being out and about and you get that, "...Ohhh shit" moment where you know if you don't sit down, you will fall down! You now it's time to go home...

I don't know how to explain it but one second it hits and you realize you can't do one more thing. Very strange

Yup. Got that T shirt. Like you’ve been going for 48 hours non stop and reach the end of conscious behaviour. And I can get it when I’ve been up for an entire 48 minutes!

Good to know it's not just me! It sounds kind of unbelievable when you try to explain it to other people doesn't it. It can happen to me when I'm 2/3 of the way round Tesco. I probably need to go round in the opposite direction sometimes otherwise tbere are bits I never get to!

Have had the same experience when shopping. I go to a cafe and have a drink and snack, and it revives me somewhat. If I have a ‘good’ day, I tend to do things I’ve always done, but have learnt to have sit downs, or I just go dizzy and weak in the legs.

Hahahahahahah! I get it. Good one!

Can I join the club too? Suddenly not able to take another step. Happened after the Stones concert. No way was I walking towards town in the hope of a taxi, I couldn’t. That row still rumbles with himself, we queued for a perfectly good bus. ( for ages)

My trick to keep going is to take a couple of Energy Extra tablets. Caffeine Plus Glucose.

It works a treat for me.
