Graham and I enjoying our stay in Malta last month. Used my walking stick on a few short walks and a longer bus trip which was exhausting, the organisers tried to cram too much into one day. Graham is improving steadily after his stroke 5 weeks ago, left hand beginning to work better. Having therapy to improve vision on left side.

Malta holiday
Glad to hear progress is continuing. You could lend half a thought to the next holiday a few bends down the road.
Lovely Marcimay. I feel happy for you both. I would be impossible to organise. X
I think it is a common problem on Malta and the trip we had last time to Gozo was awful with far far too many people and chaotic arrangements. The resort we stay at has a lovely offer 3 times a week - the resort driver gets a small bus and takes you to places and lets you have about half to 1 hour (depending where it is) to look round on your own. It is enough to see somewhere and decide if you need longer - when you can then just catch the service bus. The day we went 3/4 hour at the glass place was plenty as was half an hour at the "Miracle church". Then we finished at Rabat just at lunchtime so you had time to do the catacombs if fit or wander the half mile to Medina and have lunch and sit in the sun if you were tired before he picked us up.
Pleased to hear Graham is improving.

Lovely picture. Well done, both of you!
Oh Well Done Marcimay & Husband, that’s great he was able to manage a holiday after his stroke. You did so well getting treatment so quickly!
Enjoy 😊

Holiday was the week before the stroke. Good job it didn't happen in Malta!
How is your husband now Marcimay?
Lovely photo
He's improving every day. Speech is understandable but slow and quiet, speech therapist coming on Monday. He can do more with his left hand now, able to hold a fork and do jigsaw puzzles. Occupational therapist coming twice a week. He has an appointment for counseling as he has flashbacks to being in hospital which upset him. PTSD?
All sounds positive and getting good rehab, early intervention is vital to get the best recovery and he seems to be getting that. PTSD probably - he's still early days and could get over that but only time will tell I'm afraid. My husband suffers with it but for different circumstances and he is much better than he was. His was a major road accident. ATB to you both.
You've both done well.
Lovely photo. So pleased your husband improving.
A lovely photograph. So pleased you were able to both get away for a break although as you say exhausting at times. I do hope your husband continues to improve , that sounds rude I of course mean his health and you too of course. 💐
