I am sorry that you are suffering so much Dorisirene. Depression is a fearsome condition to me. I dread it more than anything having been in its grips in the past. You need to seek treatment as a matter of urgency. I found that " talking therapies" have given me the resources and insight to avoid slipping back into the depression trap, so far anyway.

I don't believe that any one thing causes depression but an accumulation of hurts and disappointments across a lifetime. Chemical dependency is more a symptom than a cause, I hope you have had some help in that area too.

Well done for reaching out. Bless you!

I agree with SJ.

I'm not really clear about your dose - do you mean 6x 5mg and so on? But i your head is going round with debates, I really think you need some good talking therapy help. I know it isn't easy to access but it can be when urgent.
