Appreciated the article and video. I was on Actemra for 8 months. Stopped because of GI problems. Had flare up 5 months later, so went back to 40 mg of Prednisone. ESR AND CRP were also eleavated with flare. Now down to 17.5mg of Prednisone. I believe the Actemra monthly infusions helped, but had to cut the treatment short because of severe GI problems. Never positive that Actemra caused GI symptoms, but couldn't risk further GI issues.

Hopefully it will be approved soon - it is being used in the USA where they have been able to get funding. The trouble is it is expensive - $17K a year and that hurdle is going to have to be overcome. And it doesn't ALWAYS work or work for long.
