Texas girl here. We drink sweet iced tea. I am looking to try some hot organic therapeutic teas. Will some of you ladies recommend brands and flavors and how to make. At this moment I am having some organic peppermint but wanting to try others. Thanks and hugs. 🌺

PS:. Are there any other Texas/ Oklahoma border PMR s on this group ?

Stash has a lot of really nice herbal teas, many are organic (e.g. tulsi and lavender). Also, if you can get Pukka brand, their three ginger is good.

We just had a house guest who recommended Loquat tea. Gets it on internet from a site called Larkin tea company. I've not tried yet but supposed to be quite beneficial in many ways.

Iherb sells bilk tea in lb bags which is how I buy it. Organic loose leaf and no bags to deal with..... You can buy stainless steel infuser spoons or baskets... I add organic stevia leaves to one of my spoons and add to my brew which gives sweetness with no bad sugar or sugar substitutes

Vitacost sells traditional medicinals brand and choice brand and numi organic and thrive market sells boxes of maybe 16 bags for right around four bucks. I buy most all my teas at these places........

You cant beat fresh mint tea. I grow several different varieties in the garden but black spearmint is my favourite. I have just bought an orange mint plant to try. A few leaves, boiling water and Bob's your uncle.

Jasmine pearls (sometimes called dragon pearls) are also lovely. one or two in a large mug are more than enough and you can keep topping up with hot water...

In the UK we have a few good brands such as Tea Pigs, Pukka plus some supermarket own brands. In general, the mesh bags are better than the 'paper' tea bags, possibly because the paper ones can dry out and lose flavour if not stored properly.

You might want to check out Adiago tea online from Chicago. They have all varieties of lovely fresh tea.

Should have mentioned ginger tea. Grate about a teaspoon of fresh gingerroot into a cup. Pour boiling water over, and steep for at least ten minutes. Very good anti-inflammatory.

I received an organic Daikon radish (Mooli) this week which is purported to be a superfood. Added some to roasted veg yesterday and have started to pickle some (internet recipe) as I found it very hot to eat raw! A little left so tried some tea with added lemon balm from garden. Delicious and hopefully healthy too!
