Sertraline when to take: Hubby just picked up... - PMRGCAuk
Sertraline when to take
Probably a good idea to take it in the morning as it can affect your sleep.
This is from a data sheet:
"Read the Medication Guide and, if available, the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using sertraline and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once daily either in the morning or evening. The tablet form of this medication may be taken with or without food. The capsule form is usually taken with food after breakfast or after your evening meal."
What is important is that once you decide when you are going to take it you take it at the same time every day.
Although piglette mentions it may affect your sleep - it is also meant to improve your sleeping pattern if you are having problems. People vary as to when their medication suits them best. If you are worried, wait until the morning and go and ask your local pharmacist - they are the experts.
Told to take mine in the morning.
GP suggested taking mine at night to help with sleep, 2nd week and it does seem to be helping a bit. Came off prozac as together with Pred it was giving me the "jitters" when taken in the morning.
Take mine in mornings however recall starting on half tablet daily & felt quite heady last June.
