I have just returned from the Maidstone support group and wanted to say a big thank you to all there for sharing their stories and experiences of this illness. It was a really useful morning and I look forward to watching the DVD with my family.
I would really recommend to others locating and attending your local support group.

Support groups are such a boon to so many people. Unfortunately we don't have them in every part of the country. Our charity is working hard to support new groups forming. We know it's hard when you are not well yourself to do any organising. But if you are beginning to feel better and like the idea of meeting other people who understand and know what you are talking about and going through, please get in touch!
