I know what you mean. I found this forum a little over a year ago, and the information & support I've found here is what has helped me survive this PMR journey. Happy New Year to you and everyone else who visits here!

I too second Caro12line's sentiments.

I also 'celebrate'? my first year of diagnosis tomorrow 2nd January. The support on this forum has been wonderful. Thank you to all who have given their advice and time.

Thank you for your good wishes. I too wish everyone a happy new year and hopefully a healthy one. I would like to thank all who replied to my posts last month when I unsuccessfully tried to reduce to 9mg from 10mg on the dead slow reduction plan. It didn't work and I am now back on 10mg...with bearable rather than unbearable pain, for want of a better way to describe it. My GP wants to see me next week to discuss reducing the steroids again. I will keep you posted as I think that all info read in these posts is immensely useful...and comforting.
