Sorry for your loss,l hope this new year is going to be a much happier and healthier one for you xx

Sorry for your loss of loved one. It's very hard. My oldest dearest friend died just before xmas 2016. All her advice and sayings and big fat hugs are greatly missed.the hardest thing was I didn't get told cos we had friendship separate from her marriage. I saw her a few times in 2015/2016 and knew she was being treat for cancer. I had just been dx with pmr and she was having treatment but we managed a few meetings and short walks. I texted her second week in Dec2016 and got no reply. Had xmas and no card from her. Unknown for her to miss.. so I googled name and obituary and found she had passed very quickly. I am still waiting for her to text back to have lunch. Last song at funeral was Carole king you've got a friend. I was in floods by then. As you can see still grieving and missing her telling me "nearly doesn't count' and that she would wave a magic wand if she could ". She sent me a picture from a holiday which is her shadow on the grass (i had asked what weather was like). Sounds morbid but her shadow is recognisable and comforts me. 😢
