Flu jab

Hubby and I had the flu jab on Monday. Yesterday and today we have both felt spaced out and foggy brained. I know they say that there shouldn't be any side effects but I am not so sure. Any body else feel like this?

When you stop and think about it, there is likely to be some effect on the body - the vaccine challenges your immune system to do something and there are several other ingredients as well. Just as some people react more to various medications, some people react more to those substances.

Are you sure you aren't confusing the statement "You can't get flu from the vaccine", which is true, with "there are no side effects to the vaccine", which almost certainly isn't.

I had mine a couple of weeks ago and felt none the worse. I've been having them for at least 20 years and have never felt any ill effects.

My Husband and i had flu jag 2 weeks ago,we had no side affects from it.

But i know people who have been a bit off colour for a couple of days.

Hi, I'm usually ok with jab, but have heard of people who have slight side effects, so could be why you are both feeling that way. See how you go. Take care :=-)))

Hi, I'm usually ok with jab, but have heard of people who have slight side effects, so could be why you are both feeling that way, especially as it's both of you. See how you go, take care :-))))

I have gotten the flu shot for years with the last two having PMR and being on prednisone. Every time I feel like I'm coming down with the flu the next day but the achy, groggy feeling goes away within a day orso. When I mentioned it to the nurse giving me the shot this year she said the same happens to her.
