Congratulations for building a true PMRGCAuk health movement in HealthUnlocked! You've built the biggest Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis community in the world.

Whenever you write a post, ask a question or reply to someone, you are touching the lives of other people with Polymyalgia Rheumatica or Giant Cell Arteritis by spreading the benefit of shared, personal health experiences. And beyond that you have built a resource that will benefit people for years to come.

It's been wonderful to see the community thrive. Keep up the great, supportive network you started!

Feel free to comment below and let us know what you think about the achievement.

CONGRATULATIONS !! To everyone involved with PMR/GCAUK.. on Healthunlocked .. Its a wonderful Forum and has helped me so much to learn about my condition PMR and other conditions that come with it , and it has also given me a better knowledge of the Medications that go with it . Other sufferers become your friends as you know what they are going through ..The top people involved on the Forum ie Administrators and volunteers give us lots of advice ,and so do all the wonderful people who pass on their information on how they suffer/ cope with the conditions.A day like today when I just feel awful gives you a booster when you read other peoples questions and posts and you know there are others out there suffering and some in the early stages of these conditions and it can be quite frightening.. Even now 10 years on I get frightened not knowing which route I am taking and I tell myself I will have to be strong and face whatever ..Family and friends know I feel ill at times but can't understand why I can't get better quicker and why I can't cope with everyday routine. I hide so much from them because they get fed up with me and my constant Pred reduction road and sometimes they can't understand why I can't get off the pred much quicker . They just don't have the time to read Books or some of the posts. Without the support of the Forum I WOULD FEEL ALONE .. Keep up the Good Work .Thank You All so much you're Wonderful trish 29

Thanks Trish! I was looking out for this milestone but I missed it! Thanks so much for the kind and encouraging words. As you know, we are mostly volunteers (just one part-time worker) and everything we do comes from our own experience and commitment to helping people deal with these conditions. You don't have to hide anything from us!
