Thanks to all who supported me at the Great North Run. You'll be pleased to hear I raised well over £1200 for the 13.1 miles ... and donations are still coming in. I hope to be at the PMRGCA NE Group at Middlesbrough this Wednesday. My next Challenge is the Tunnel to Towers in New York at the end of the month. Keep smiling and raising awareness of PMRGCA xx

Massive well done..

I managed to raise just short of £900 a few months ago by completing a 50k on foot.. Took me 10 gruelling hours..

Inspirational. Comparing my present declining physical condition with how I was a year ago it is heartening to hear that there is the possibility of a return to some form. Curiosity, what time did you do?

Thank you for all your generous replies. In answer to your questions I'm still on 2mg Pred, ran 1hr 50mins (7029th position out of 56,000 runners!) which is 8.5 min/mile ... and we've now raised £1,500. Thank you x
