I am 51 years old. I have been in renal failure for almost three years. I go to dialysis three tmes a week. I am still very active and work

Part time with handicapped people. I just wanted to let people know that being on dialysis is not a death sentence. I lead a very full life and plan on continueing for many years to come.

This is good to read... Everything was bleak at the beginning, but I've put it to the back of my mind and haven't had any issues with my kidneys since before Christmas! I see my specialist next week for a yearly review. Always hoping they've got it wrong. Only a year into my diagnosis and at 38 I've made some dramatic changes to my diet and exercise and feel better than I've ever felt. Positive thinking .... Well done xxx
