I found it on an american website clear passage. They use it to clear adhesions using some from of actue massage There appears no one practising it in Britain although bupa does talk about it not having enough evidence base I have adhesions on my bowel and would try anything as with the other members consultants don't want to touch me

I also came across that website recently and asked someone I go to for massage about it. She said it sounds a lot like myofascial release which some experts practice here. So, you could google that and talk to a specialist in this country to see if it's an option.
