took one pill of carbamazepine. Had convulsion threw up for 6 hours and had gerd for 5 months. Gabapentin I can take up to 1800 mg a day. Very little side effects except constipation. I kinda works. Amytriptiline gave me heart skipping and no pain relief. Tramadol gives me about 4 hours reduced pain at 50 mg. All those injections did nothing. .

Sorry to hear your experience. I laugh when I see comments on Gabapentin, as my doctor gave me 100mg per day (vs 1,800mg) with an antidepressant. I haven't taken these scripts and don't think I'll get any relief. I used to receive Tramadol for chronic back issues and loved it, but lost that script due to some new rules in 2017 with the USA federal government <don't remember the agency.

good morning and Happy Christmas to everyone. I tried Gabapentin and the side affects were severe, zombie state and dizzy!!! Then it was Amatriptyline !!! Phew!!! Horrible depressed state and vivid nightmares!! Next try is Pregabalin after Christmas. Lots of codiene currently and Duluxetine xx
