Let’s share the everyday strategies we use to manage our chronic conditions. I recall a person on this network talking about a pillow that provided relief that she takes everywhere with her. I’d have really liked the details about how the pillow provided relief and where I could purchase one just like it!

I suffer intense burning from vulvodynia. The 3 products/ strategies I’ve found most successful are—

1. Gentlepak Reusable Perineal Ice Packs ($20 Amazon)

I’m sitting on one while writing this! Daily lifesaver! Literally cools the burn. I use at home & when driving.

2. Donut Cushion Seat ($8 Amazon)

I use at home & in car. I find it most useful with very little air in it. Prevents me from sitting directly on vulvar region.

3. LUXE Bidet attachment for toilet seat ($35 Amazon; very easy install)

This device provides stream of water for rear wash sprays & a feminine wash spray for softer flow towards the front. Prevents need to wipe & irritate undercarriage. Just pat dry after use. You can adjust flow & direction of water.

What tips or strategies do you find most helpful for daily management of your chronic condition? Please share details here!
