Pelvic pain, prolapse, coccydynia

I’m on a long journey to figure out how the different problems that cause my pelvic pain interact together to create the specific pain and numbness I feel. Understanding it is the first step to improving it.

I have chronic pelvic pain and coccydynia, and a Stage 3 cystocele and cervical prolapse (if I’m reading my chart right). Currently in my third week of physical therapy.

it sounds as if you’ve got a lot to get your head around. Hopefully your physiotherapist will not only help to reduce some of the pain but will also explain some of the connections and perhaps point out whether you need appointments with other experts like a gynaecologist.
