office chair recommendations for pelvic pain?

Notanotherusername12 profile image

I have chronic pelvic pain and am searching for an office chair that is designed with pelvic pain in mind. I’m overwhelmed by search results so wondering if anyone here can recommend one? I cannot sit in a regular chair. Thank you!

I can no longer sit normally so use a stand up desk and when I do try to sit I use a cushion with the middle cut out - it helps a little. Try out a few things - like sitting cross legged or with one leg over the over kneeto take the pressure off the perenium- a pelvic floor specialist can offer you advice

thank you! It’s my right hip that’s painful and no one can tell me why after 3 years. Got another mri scheduled though. Maybe a standing desk is a good idea

hello, I have a chair through my work for a hip impingement and I need to be able to move from a static position to pushing back and almost rocking. It opens the hip flexors and has been helping. I also do a 20 min sit/20 min stand rule set by physio.

wow! That chair sounds great. Do you know the brand name or have a link for the chair? Thank you!
