Hi, are you sure it's not sciatica?. I get it badly at times and it goes down my left leg to the foot.It starts in the sacroiliac joint and constipation makes it worse for me - it's like something is pressing on the nerves in that area.Have you tried a TENS machine - I have one that has a belt clip on it so it's easy to move about with it onYou get sticky pads with it which you put on that area .It definitely helps deal with nerve pain.I hope you find a solution as it's nasty when you get nerve pain.It can take it out of you.I hope you soon feel better - take care x
I would try seeing a chiropractor befor I took any meds it may be sciatica..I have found natural healing works so much better for my body..feel better and good luck
This sounds like the sciatic nerve. Constipation can sometimes put pressure on the nerve if it is severe. I'm surprised your doctor didn't mention this. I agree with the other comments, exhaust all treatments before you start with meds.
Thank you everyone it seems to only happen when I strain to go to the toilet I have prolapse also and ibs -c so it can be bother some for me, 😔
