Hello ,

I want share my story and ask if anybody has experience in treatment infected pudendal nerve

Im man 35 years not 85 kg and 182cm tall , im suffering from pain and pressure while im sitting down , after MRI and checked with radiology doctor he said i have issue in pudendal nerve , he injected me by anesthesia but pain come again after one day only from procedure, I ask doctor he said we can turn it off the nerve and iron it , I'm afraid from this decision and I’m applying for one month back for physiotherapy and taking Lyrica medicine and muscles relaxation,

Unfortunately no any improvement for pain , and im totally disappointed nowadays i dont know where can go and what should do ?

If anybody please have experience in how to treat pudendal nerve please share to me

Thanks in Advance and wish you all keep healthy and safe

Physical Therapy will teach you how to relax the nerve. Surgery is a last option as it can not be reversed. Read this boob “ A headache in the pelvis “. Helped me! Good luck!

Yes I found physical therapy helpful ...it teaches how to relax muscles so that then it doesn't affect the nerves much right and also headache in the pelvis helped me too

Hello 👋 I have found the book by Amy Stein “Healing Pelvic Pain” has helped me very much as well as meditation...I was misdiagnosed for over 2 yrs. physical therapy helped I also take valerian root and hops..I was not able to take any prescriptions without side effects ... I am not a dr....so you may want to check with your dr. Before taking anything in addition to your lyrics ect...also find a dr. That specializes in pelvic pain ...I hope this helps

Yes it along with the hops up to 3 times a day helps me as the gabapentin did but the gabapentin gave me blurry vision I take two capsules of each 2 to 3 times a day but again I do not take any other prescriptions so you may want to ask your dr. Before you start you may not be able to do it with other prescriptions I find if it makes me tired then I don’t need another dose but I always take it at bed time

Hi mate I’m also a young man with this issue PT could help, have you had th burning of the nerve done I think it’s pulsed radio frequency which is said to help pain.

If it’s entrapped they can do surgery in carious places around the world....
