Muscle spasms increased heart rate

Hi Everyone- Does anyone have an increase in their heart rate with vaginal and or rectal spasms? My heart always lets me know when I go into spasm and raises about 30-40 beats above my resting heart rate. The pelvic floor muscles are under autonomic control I know, but does anyone else have symptoms like I do? My blood pressure does not increase just my heart rate. If you do experience these symptoms how do you manage this. Thanks!

It happens to me but I am on a muscle relaxer so that helps but I do what my niece told me ..she has svt(fast heart rate)you have to interrupt the heart racing so you have to cough a few times or take a deep breath and hold it for a bit a few times in a row...to make it go back into normal rythm....

i don't think this just effects women as i suffer from something similar can you pm me if you find out what it is or pm my Instagram if u reply ill give u it (im being looked at for weird heart stuff with no explanation)

Hi drryan- I wanted to message you back about the increased heart rate. So the first cardiologist I saw 5 months ago told me to control the pain. The new cardiologist I saw this week started me on a very low dose beta blocker and said to take as needed when my heart rate is up. So I am not on daily doses only when my heart rate will not come down with the muscle relaxers. My gynecologist has told me that the pelvic floor muscles are under autonomic control( nervous system) control. So things like breathing, heart rate are affected with pelvic pain. So if the pain is difficult to control there is still medicine you can take to decrease how hard the heart is working. Glad I went for another opinion! Best of luck to you.
