Pudendal pain after glute max exercise

Hi all. I am having a terrible time with sacroiliac joint pain and have a history of pudendal nerve damage. In order to how repair my sacroiliac joint, I have had to start exercising my Glute Max which has been very weak. This very reliably and reproducibly badly flares up my pudendal nerve issues. The reasons for this are very unclear to me. Does anyone have any ideas regarding the underlying causes as well as ways to get around this? I am having to choose between sacroiliac joint pain and pudendal nerve pain.

Hi, i think that i suffer from pudendal nerve issue too after squads exercises.

And its damage are bad as leading to many serious problems like penis sensation and bowel and/or bladder issues (and by the way did you feel these issues too?)

So i think take a rest and treat them both by changing the techniques if treating sacroiliac joint.

Just wondering if you ever found a way around the SIJ strengthening and PN issue. I am in same situation after years of happily exercising with some SIJ pain, the PN has come into play - badly. Never thought such continuous pain possible. Can’t find physio in UK who understands both issues, have you? I assume my sacrotuberous ligament and PN have a stand-off...
