Anyone suffered with Pubis Symphysitis?

Following a small urological operation in September last year I am still suffering with pelvic pain and have seen several professionals. It has finally been decided that I have Pubis Symphysitis due to how stretched apart my legs were during the operation.

Has anyone else suffered with this and have you any idea how long will I continue to have to suffer before I start to feel better again.? I’ve had to cancel my gym membership, can’t sit down for long and can’t swim as it hurts so much to open my legs whilst swimming breast stroke!
