My daughter is 30yrs old and has been suffering from chronic pain for over 15yrs. She has been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, dysmenorrhoea and pelvic inflammation disease PID ( which was caused by infection from one of the other afflictions ).
When pregnant with her third child ( 3yrs ago ) she was reduced to walking with crutches. She is in a great deal of pain and has to take several medications. For the past month she has had implants inplace that supposedly switch of her womb, for 21 days she is pain free ( for the last week of the month the pain comes back ). Her gynaecologist said that if she stays pain free for 3 months using these implants she will give her the hysterectomy that my daughter has always wanted. What I would like to discuss is if any lady out there has had this operation and did it work.
I'm behind my daughter 100% , I just don't want her to go through such a drastic operation if it isn't going to work.
