I have had pbc for about 3 years and I am taking urso 1000 a day. I have also had 2 back surgery during this time and I am in a lot of pain from that but I also can tell some pain is from my colon. The dr. says that nerve ending from back can also effect the colon. I have also been wondering has anyone had any effects to the colon from taking urso. thanks receipe.

I have not had that experience (I am an 82 year old male with stage 3 PBC). Some years ago, I had a partial resection of my lower colon, but nothing seems to have caused the pain that you have. Sorry I can’t help. Good luck.
Recipe- I have a lot of “colon” problems from the Urso. It goes up and down, sometimes long stretches of diarrhea, then I’m ok.I don’t take well to medications- so Urso is definitely not helping. Try a bland diet, nothing irritating. Hope you feel better soon.
Good luck!!!
