My periods stopped years ago way before I was diagnosed. Had hormone checks which came back normal. Now have found after diagnosed that along with other things it is a symptom of the pbc. Get a hormone check to rule out anything else. My specialist said I would be able to get pregnant as much as anyone else, no guarantee.

Thanks for the advise, definitely I am going to visit my doctor and get a hormone check.

Thanks a lot.

I've never had this drug you mentioned, just on urso (started Dec 2010).

I've never had any problems with my menstrual cycle at all. I am almost 49 and think I am building up to the change though I am still having periods.

Just a thought sutorres, have you checked what possible side-effects you could have with the drug aza you have mentioned?

I think it depends on how old you are. If you are about to or have touched the aged 50 mark then it might just be coincidental.

I remember my first hosp consult appt back Oct 2010, I came away from the hospital that day most annoyed and felt I was past it! The consult did ask me twice about my periods and I told him both times, the second I was getting annoyed, that I have no problems there at all, never have as I haven't. I was 46 at the time and did think I had several years left before I hit the change which now I am almost 49 seems to be true.
